“The Howling Norther”

Old time mountain men wore much of the same gear that the Plains Indians would sometimes due to the fact that they were trapping the same animals and also because they traded to the Indians for them. This inspiration for this sculpture occurred when I envisioned such an old time mountain man covered with a buffalo robe and wolf headdress as he turns to face a howling Norther.
